Rockey Black is a versatile actor, director, and producer from Michigan with a passion for filmmaking that began with his breakout role in 8 Mile. Over the years, he has produced and directed numerous films, including Bigger Than the Game, Street Code Broken, The Landlord, and Ten Toes Down, showcasing his creative vision and entrepreneurial spirit. As co-founder of Silver Line Entertainment, Rockey has become a key figure in Michigan's independent film industry. Outside of filmmaking, he enjoys running a youth basketball program, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife of 28 years, their two children, and granddaughters.

Janaya Black is the president and CEO of Black-Smith Enterprises, an entertainment powerhouse supporting her creative endeavors in writing, filmmaking, and stage production. Tonja Ayers, affectionately known as "The Shoe Lady," is a seasoned entrepreneur, author, playwright, and filmmaker with over 25 years of experience. Recognized for her business acumen and creative genius, she has been featured in The Detroit News & Free Press, The Michigan Chronicle, and on WDIV Channel 4 NBC. Tonja has authored ten books, produced over two dozen films including her most recent hits The Landlord, Ten Toes Down and Lies & Loyalty. Richard Bass, a Detroit native and founder of Chosen One Productions, has built a career in stage and film with a mission to entertain, motivate, and uplift audiences. Beginning with the co-creation of the play You Ain’t No Different in 2001, Richard expanded his portfolio with works like Entangled, Idol, and films such as Chocolate Kiss and Daddy I Love Him. Inspired by mentors like David E. Talbert and Tyler Perry, he launched Chosen One Productions in 2011 to showcase talent and produce high-quality entertainment. Richard balances his creative pursuits with a fulfilling family life with his wife, Tamika, and their two sons.

Mike Jeffers is a multifaceted artist whose talents span singing, acting, and directing, making him a rising star in the world of cinema. Born in New York and raised in Detroit, his journey reflects a deep passion for storytelling and captivating audiences through diverse creative expressions.

Initially uncertain about his career path, Jeffers explored various artistic avenues, each enriching his craft and shaping his unique perspective. His foray into filmmaking became the turning point, fueling his creative passion and setting the stage for his evolution as a storyteller.

With a portfolio featuring acclaimed projects like Chocolate Kiss, Intimate Betrayals, The Perfect Gift, and award-winning works such as Bad Day and Rotten, Jeffers now steps into the director’s chair with Untamed. Marshalle Favors has produced eight independent feature films and has written and directed 5 short films. Her passion for indie movies inspired her to co-found the Trinity International Film Festival and The Detroit Black Film Festival.  Through the festivals, she works in collaboration with other filmmakers to host film screenings, workshops, and networking events with industry professionals. For over 20 years, Marshalle has worked purposefully to contribute to the growth of the film community in metro Detroit. Marshalle has a passion for racial & social justice. She is a ForbesBLK Community Member, a 2023 Women of Excellence Honoree and awarded as one of the Most Influential African American Women in Metropolitan Detroit in 2021.

Timashion Jones is a visionary filmmaker and entrepreneur whose latest project, A Mirror of Deception, explores complex themes of truth, identity, and betrayal. Among his impactful works is Hope 911, a compelling film addressing teen suicide prevention, and The Easy Path, which highlights the critical role of mentorship in urban communities. With over a decade of experience, Timashion has produced and or directed numerous projects, including the Emmy-winning Cody High: A Life Remodeled Project and Introducing Marcus Belgrave. In addition to his cinematic achievements, he is dedicated to mentoring aspiring filmmakers worldwide. Above all, Timashion values his role as a devoted husband and father, sharing life with his wife, Taivia, and their two amazing teenage children.

Tonja Brown is a versatile and seasoned actress with extensive experience in both stage productions and film. Known for her dynamic performances and on-screen charisma, she has brought numerous characters to life with depth and authenticity. Beyond her acting talent, Tonja is a skilled movie set designer, combining creativity and attention to detail to craft visually stunning and immersive environments for productions. Her dual expertise in acting and set design makes her a valuable asset to the entertainment industry.

DeJuan Ford is a Detroit-based actor and producer known for bringing authentic, powerful stories to life in independent film. With a versatile acting style and a keen eye for production, he has earned recognition for his dedication to storytelling excellence.

Passionate about giving back, DeJuan mentors aspiring filmmakers and actors, teaching the fundamentals of film production, acting, and business in his community. Through his work on and off-screen, he continues to inspire and uplift, making a lasting impact on the industry and Detroit’s creative scene.

RonSher T. Brooks has dedicated over 20 years in the entertainment industry, using a variety of mediums to express her creative vision. She is the author of two inspiring books with her latest being Journeying Through Sorrow, the composer of two inspirational CDs, and the playwright and director of many theatrical productions, including the critically acclaimed Give Me One Reason and television mini series One Big Mess. Her talents also extend to directing full-length feature films, showcasing her remarkable ability to bring powerful stories to life.

A true ray of sunshine, RonSher is passionate about offering hope and inspiration through the stories she tells. Her faith in God and her loving husband, William, of 18 years, is the foundation of her many accomplishments. Now, RonSher is thrilled to join The Collective Studios, where she aims to create a nurturing home for creatives worldwide to share their gifts and stories.

William Brooks has spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry, producing acclaimed plays and television shows, including One Big Mess, Real Talk TV, Heaven’s Touch, Day Break, and more. Known as a gentle giant, William is driven by his passion for providing others a platform to share their truths and tell their stories.

His journey has been supported by his wife, RonSher, his partner of 18 years, whose shared vision of empowering others has inspired their work and community impact.
